All Grown Up

When I look back at how my style has evolved over the years, I have come to realize that just like in life, sometimes you have to make mistakes in order to learn valuable lessons. Now, you may be wondering why I am getting a bit nostalgic ( I mean, it is just fashion after all), but the truth is, there is something about this pair of distressed denim that reminds me of my college days, and the countless times I strolled around campus in a pair almost identical to them. However, at that time my jeans were probably a size too small and the top I had paired with them was probably even more unflattering, but you live and you learn, and today's style post is a true testament to that very idea. 

You see, I have made many questionable fashion choices over the years, and I am sure that I will make many more in the years to come, but isn't that the point? If fashion wasn't about experimentation and pushing the envelope a bit, then there wouldn't be a place in this world for people like me, or you, for that matter, because I assume that the reason you visit my blog every day is because you have come to be inspired in some way...

 So here is to making mistakes, and most importantly, learning to evolve from them, because isn't that what growing up is all about?
