With a busy month filled with pre-Derby events ahead, I have currently found myself pondering the best staples to transition effortlessly from day to night. With that and the unpredictable spring weather in mind, it seems that the figure flattering maxi dress is a logical choice.
Of course when it comes to the art of transitioning from working girl to the champagne wielding event-goer, there are many different avenues. However, today I am making the case for the chic maxi dress because with the simple addition of a leather jacket (I took into account the wind factor), high heels, and some wrist bling I was ready to take on the night in style.
